Patrick Gibbs lives in London. He paints a wide variety of subject-matter, but most of his inspiration comes from his travels. He excels at painting everyday life in exotic places such as Cuba, Madagascar, Kerala or Zanzibar, but is also an accomplished painter of portraits and landscapes.

 

He studied at The Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford, and was an art teacher for a year, before becoming a full-time artist. Since 1988, he has exhibited regularly in London, and occasionally in France, Italy and the US.
