Meltem was born in Ankara 1963, graduated form Ege University and in 1986 sold her sucessfull public relations business and moved to London where she has lived since. In London she set up her own business and studied Fine Art, part-time, at Chelsea School of Art (1986 to 2004). Since her son finished school she has been able to attend a full time course at Heatherley`s School of Fine Art in Chelsea. She has a unique style in abstract painting, using mixed media such as pastels, collage, acrylics and finally finishing with oil media. Her works are an experience of space and celebration of colours and textures.
