Born and brought up in Kent and now living in S.W. Scotland Mary-Clare combines her love of wildlife and the countryside in her vibrant watercolours. Having sold her school in London and moved to the wilds she no longer has to paint in bed due to lack of time and space but is able to concentrate on producing larger and more detailed works. With most of her children now having flown the nest her days are spent painting, gardening and looking after a large and varied menagerie. Mary-Clare has exhibited in Scotland, Brisbane and London. She contributes regularly to exhibitions throughout the country.
