An exhibition of works by Canadian artists Catherine Perehudoff & Graham Fowler
Two different interpretations and painterly translations of nature into art can be seen at the exhibit of Catherine Perehudoff and Graham Fowler.
Having exhibited extensively in Canada, the U.S.A. and Norway over the last thirty years, they will now have their work on display and presented by art dealer and collector, Calvin Redlick.
Having a strong connection to the land, Catherine Perehudoff’s approach is one of blending a naturalist’s observations with a Romanticist’s vision.
Graham Fowler’s paintings are realistic representations derived from experience, direct observation, and photographic research resulting in an almost mathematical analysis of light and colour. Juxtaposed next to each other the work offers a visual conversation between the variations of perspective and style.
This exhibition can be viewed Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7pm.

Robin Eckardt and Ali Cockrean
|
21st January - 26th January 2008
|
Robin Eckardt is a very promising artist, largely known through the representation of The Red Gallery in Thame, Oxfordshire. Her contemporary style of painting lends itself to impressionism whilst being highly vibrant and stimulating. Her use of mixed media creates work that is completely different and exciting yet aesthetically pleasing.
Ali Cockrean is a successful expressionist painter who regularly exhibits her abstract work throughout the country. Her work already appears in collections across Europe, the US and Canada. She is considered to be ‘one to watch’ on the contemporary art scene.
The Show is open daily from 10.00am to 6 pm
